HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the divine Person that exalts Jesus Christ and convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He brings new life to those who are spiritually dead, that all believers are baptized with the Holy Spirit and thus placed into the one true Church, which is the Body of Christ, that He indwells with them permanently, seals them unto the day of redemption and empowers them for service. The Holy Spirit fills (directs and controls) those believers who are yielded to Him, enables believers to bear fruit and gives spiritual gifts to believers for the purpose of edifying the church in accordance with the teachings of scripture. The Holy Spirit seals the believer unto the day of final redemption. His presence in the Christian is the guarantee that God will bring the believer into the fullness of the stature of Christ. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.
